Globalscope Partners Ltd., an international M&A network, is pleased to share the news of the successful expansion of their regional network expansion into Turkey.
At the 22nd semi-annual conference, hosted by Perth based Corporate Advisory firmTomkins Turner, more than 30 delegates representing 20 countries, met in Perth to discuss deal opportunities, hear from local industry and deal experts, develop the network and discuss expanding M&A activity within Asia.
The 2-day conference programme incorporated best practice presentations on professional development from Globalscope President Russell D’Alba andCatCapManaging Partners Michael Moritz and Caspar Stauffenberg, integration and collaboration within the network, and working with PE firms presented byCorbett KeelingFounder and CEO Jim Keeling andCatCap’sMichael Moritz.
In addition, the Globalscope group was provided with the latest insight into Cross Border M&A Legal considerations within Asia from Lavan Legal Partner Tony Chong. Globalscope sector experts provided updates on current trends and completed transactions within key sectors, and participants utilized the one-to-one deal meetings with Globalscope peers on behalf of their clients. Former Executive Vice President TBWA Asia Pacific Ian Thubron presented on “Marketing to an Asian Audience”, an insightful look at the way to market Western products and services into the complex Asian market where many US and Australian businesses have had limited success in the past.

The Gala Dinner, traditionally closing out the conference, was held at the Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht club. GLOBALSCOPE FLAGSHIP DEAL:Stratégique,Netherlands andAtout Capital,France which respectively advised The Surgical Company, a Dutch-based group, on the acquisition of a majority stake in the capital of Axess Vision, a French company.
