30/11/2011: CMW International press release – Sale of PROMOPLAST
In 2003, CMW International was sell-side advisor to the European leading packaging producer Linpac. CMW organized the divesture of Promoplast, the group’s French subsidiary, via an MBO lead by Patrick Marion and the French P/E House, IPO.
8 years later, Patrick Marion and the shareholders of Promoplast again engaged CMW to procure a buyer and negotiate the sale of the company, which was successfully finalized this past November.
Promoplast, conceives, produces and markets large range of advertising objects for local businesses; it is a leader in a niche market. It's acquisition was made through a secondary LBO by an external manager and 2 investment funds that hold respectively 60% and 40% of the share capital. The company, leader on the pharmacies market, has an aggregated turnover of 13M€ with an EBIT of 0.8M€.
